Large Sodalite Tree of Life – Gift for a Writer or Teacher, 280 Natural Sodalite Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A large handmade Sodalite Tree of Life in deep royal blue: 280 polished natural sodalite spheres in deep royal and navy blue with fine white veining, like ink on paper. Each one is wired by hand onto a full, generous tree set in a white ceramic bowl that you can personalize with his name, a favourite line or a short thank you.

In crystal tradition sodalite is a stone of clear thinking, truth and self expression, sometimes called the poet's stone, and it is often linked with the sign of Sagittarius. Its deep blue makes this tree a gift for a writer, a teacher or a student, for a birthday, a graduation or a thank you, and a calm accent for a study desk.

PRINCESS BLUE

In 1901 the future Queen Mary, then on a tour of North America, was given a piece of deep blue sodalite from a quarry near Bancroft, Ontario. She liked it so much that more was ordered to decorate Marlborough House, her home in London, and in 1906 about 130 tonnes of the stone were shipped to England. The quarry took the name Princess Sodalite in her honour, and blue sodalite from Bancroft is still known as Princess Blue.
