Apple Green Chrysoprase Tree of Life – Gift for a Nurse, 46 Natural Chrysoprase Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A handmade Chrysoprase Tree of Life in apple green: 46 small polished natural chrysoprase spheres in fresh apple and mint greens with paler and darker flecks, like an orchard in early summer. Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name or a few words of thanks for someone who takes care of others.

In crystal tradition chrysoprase is a stone of healing, hope and compassion, and it is often linked with the sign of Taurus. On 12 May, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the world celebrates International Nurses Day, a good day to thank a nurse.

THE KING'S GREEN STONE

Chrysoprase takes its name from the Greek chrysos, gold, and prason, leek, for its golden green colour, which comes from tiny amounts of nickel. In the eighteenth century its most famous source was in Silesia, near today's Szklary in Poland, and the Prussian king Frederick the Great loved it so much that he used it to decorate his palace of Sanssouci in Potsdam, including two chrysoprase tables.
