Brick Red Jasper Tree of Life – Gift for a Firefighter, 46 Natural Red Jasper Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A handmade Red Jasper Tree of Life in brick red: 46 small polished natural red jasper spheres in warm brick, rust and ember tones, like glowing coals in a hearth. Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name, a station number or a few words of thanks for someone who runs towards the fire.

In crystal tradition red jasper is a stone of strength, courage and endurance, and it is often linked with the sign of Leo. On 4 May, the feast of St Florian, many countries mark International Firefighters' Day, a good day to thank a firefighter.

THE KNOT OF ISIS

In ancient Egypt red jasper had a special place among amulets. Spell 156 of the Book of the Dead asks for a tyet, the knot of Isis, made of red jasper, to be placed at the neck of the dead on the day of burial, its red colour standing for the blood of Isis and her power to protect. Many of these little knot amulets survive in museums today.
