Large Multicolor Carnelian Tree of Life – Creativity Gift for an Artist, 280 Natural Carnelian Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A large handmade Multicolor Carnelian Tree of Life in sunset colours: 280 polished natural carnelian spheres in a warm mix of shades, from deep red, brick red and dark oxblood to bright tangerine, honey, amber and soft peach, with a few pale cream translucent stones. Each one is wired by hand onto a full, generous tree set in a white ceramic bowl that you can personalize with a name, a favourite quote or a photo of their work.

In crystal tradition carnelian is a stone of creativity, motivation and joy, often linked with the signs of Leo and Virgo. Its mix of fiery colours makes this tree a gift for an artist, a maker or anyone starting a creative project, and a warm accent for a studio, a desk or an autumn home.

A STONE NAMED AFTER A CHERRY TREE

The older English name of this stone is cornelian. It comes through medieval Latin from cornum, the fruit of the cornel tree, Cornus mas, still called the cornelian cherry, whose small berries are a glossy, translucent red, much like the stone. Over time the spelling changed to carnelian, under the influence of the Latin caro, carnis, flesh, for the stone's warm, living colour. Both names are still in use today.
