Cherry Red Carnelian Tree of Life – Gift for a Student, 46 Natural Carnelian Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A handmade Cherry Red Carnelian Tree of Life in glossy cherry red: 46 small polished natural carnelian spheres in ripe cherry and warm orange-red, bright as a red pen on a page of notes. Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name, a school, a class year or a few words of encouragement for someone studying late into the night.

In crystal tradition carnelian is a stone of motivation, focus and confidence, and it is often linked with the sign of Taurus, steady and determined. Its warm red makes it a cheerful gift for exam season, a study desk or a graduation.

NAPOLEON'S SEAL

During his campaign in Egypt in 1798 and 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte is said to have picked up an octagonal carnelian seal engraved in Arabic, and he kept it with him as a talisman. His nephew Napoleon III wore it on his watch chain and passed it to his son, the Prince Imperial, asking him to keep it always. The young prince wore it when he served with British forces in southern Africa, where he was killed in 1879, and according to the gem historian George Frederick Kunz the seal was never seen again.
