Snowy White Dendritic Opal Tree of Life – Secret Santa Gift for a Coworker, 46 Natural Dendritic Opal Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A handmade Dendritic Opal Tree of Life in snowy white: 46 small polished natural dendritic opal spheres, milky white and scattered with tiny black dots and branching marks, like the first snowfall with bare twigs showing through. Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name, a team name or a few words for the colleague who makes the office a better place.

In crystal tradition dendritic stones are linked with growth, patience and a calm mind, and they are often associated with the sign of Scorpio. Its winter white makes it an easy Secret Santa or office Christmas gift that looks at home on any desk long after the holidays.

FOSSILS THAT ARE NOT FOSSILS

The tiny black branches and dots in dendritic stones look so much like fossil ferns or moss that for centuries people believed they were plants turned to stone. They are not fossils at all. They are crystals of manganese oxides that grew from mineral-rich water seeping into fine cracks, spreading in branching, tree-like patterns. Geologists call them pseudofossils, false fossils, and no two are ever the same.
