Large Tree Agate Tree of Life – Housewarming Gift for a Gardener, 280 Natural Tree Agate Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A large handmade Tree Agate Tree of Life in white and green: 280 polished natural tree agate spheres, white as fresh snow and threaded with mossy green branches, like a garden waking up after winter. Each one is wired by hand onto a full, generous tree set in a white ceramic bowl that you can personalize with a family name, a new address or a few words for someone whose hands are always in the soil.

In crystal tradition tree agate is a stone of growth, patience and strong roots, and it is often linked with the sign of Virgo, the careful gardener of the zodiac. It makes a fitting housewarming gift for a new home with a garden, a first balcony full of pots or a family that is putting down roots.

THE KING'S AGATE

Agates have always made people look for pictures in their markings. In his Natural History, written in the first century, the Roman scholar Pliny the Elder describes an agate owned by Pyrrhus, the king of Epirus who fought against Rome. Pliny says that its natural markings, with no help from any engraver, showed Apollo holding his lyre among the nine Muses, each with her own emblem. The green branches in tree agate invite the same game: every sphere seems to hold a tiny landscape.
