Large Tiger's Eye Tree of Life – 9th Anniversary Gift for Him, 280 Natural Tiger's Eye Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A large handmade Tiger's Eye Tree of Life in golden brown: 280 polished natural tiger's eye spheres in honey, caramel and dark chocolate, with bands of gold that shimmer and move as you walk past. Each one is wired by hand onto a full, generous tree set in a white ceramic bowl that you can personalize with his name, a date to remember or a photo of the two of you.

In crystal tradition tiger's eye is a stone of courage, focus and good fortune, and it is often linked with the sign of Leo. In feng shui a gemstone tree on a desk is a symbol of growth and prosperity, which makes this tree a strong gift for him, for a 9th anniversary, a promotion or a new office.

FROM LUXURY TO EVERY DESK

In the 1870s tiger's eye was a rare and costly stone in Europe, sold in small polished pieces at prices close to those of fine gems. That changed in the following decade, when large deposits were found in Griqualand West, in today's Northern Cape of South Africa. So much stone reached Europe that prices fell fast, and by around 1900 tiger's eye had become an affordable stone for rings, cufflinks and carvings. South Africa is still its main source today.
