Grape Purple Amethyst Tree of Life – Gift for a Wine Lover, 46 Natural Amethyst Stones, Copper, Silver or Gold Wire, Personalized Bowl

A handmade Amethyst Tree of Life in grape purple: 46 small polished natural amethyst spheres in lilac, violet and deep grape tones, like a bunch of ripe grapes catching the evening light. Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name, the name of a vineyard or a few words for someone who knows a good vintage.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February, and in crystal tradition it is a stone of calm, clarity and balance, often linked with the sign of Aquarius. Its grape purple makes it a natural gift for the harvest season and for anyone who loves wine.

THE STONE THAT IS NOT DRUNK

The name amethyst comes from the Greek amethystos, not drunken. The ancients believed the stone protected its wearer from drunkenness, and people wore amethyst rings when they drank. Some scholars think the name came instead from its colour, the purple of red wine mixed with so much water that it can no longer make anyone drunk.
