Each one is wired by hand onto a full, generous tree set in a white ceramic bowl that you can personalize with his name, a favourite line or a short thank you.

In crystal tradition sodalite is a stone of clear thinking, truth and self expression, sometimes called the poet's stone, and it is often linked with the sign of Sagittarius. Its deep blue makes this tree a gift for a writer, a teacher or a student, for a birthday, a graduation or a thank you, and a calm accent for a study desk.

PRINCESS BLUE

In 1901 the future Queen Mary, then on a tour of North America, was given a piece of deep blue sodalite from a quarry near Bancroft, Ontario. She liked it so much that more was ordered to decorate Marlborough House, her home in London, and in 1906 about 130 tonnes of the stone were shipped to England. The quarry took the name Princess Sodalite in her honour, and blue sodalite from Bancroft is still known as Princess Blue.

WHO IS IT FOR?

A gift for a writer, a teacher or a student

A thank you, graduation or birthday gift

A Sagittarius birthday gift

A royal blue accent for a study desk, library or home office

MATERIALS

280 natural sodalite spheres, polished and wired by hand one by one

Non-tarnish wire in the finish you choose at checkout: pure copper, silver-plated copper or gold-plated copper, so the colour keeps its shine for years

White ceramic bowl, plain or personalized with your text or text and photo

Every tree is unique: natural sodalite varies from royal to navy blue, with its own white veins

SIZE

Height: about 30 cm (12 in)

Width: about 23 cm (9 in)

Bowl diameter: about 10 cm (4 in)

Weight: about 0.8 kg (1.8 lb)

PERSONALIZATION STYLES

Choose the personalization style from the options above.
