Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name, a studio name or a few words for someone with clay on their hands.

In crystal tradition hemimorphite is a stone of calm, creativity and self expression, and it is often linked with the sign of Pisces. Its fresh pale green feels like the Spring Equinox, when day and night are equal and the first green returns.

THE HALF-SHAPED STONE

Hemimorphite is a zinc mineral, long mined as an ore of zinc, the metal whose oxide is a familiar ingredient in pottery glazes. Its name comes from the Greek hemi, half, and morphe, shape, because its crystals are hemimorphic: the two ends of a single crystal grow in different shapes, one often flat and the other pointed.

WHO IS IT FOR?

A gift for a potter, a ceramic artist or a pottery class teacher

A Spring Equinox or spring birthday gift

A Pisces birthday gift

A soft green accent for a studio shelf, desk or windowsill

MATERIALS

46 natural hemimorphite spheres, polished and wired by hand one by one

Non-tarnish wire in the finish you choose at checkout: pure copper, silver-plated copper or gold-plated copper, so the colour keeps its shine for years

White ceramic bowl with white pebbles, plain or personalized with your text or text and photo

Every tree is unique: natural hemimorphite varies from pale to sea green, with white and grey flecks

SIZE

Height: about 24 cm (9.5 in)

Width: about 19 cm (7.5 in)

Depth: about 14 cm (5.5 in)

Bowl diameter: about 8 cm (3 in)

Weight: about 0.7 kg (1.5 lb)

PERSONALIZATION STYLES

Choose the personalization style from the options above.
