Each one is wired by hand onto a little tree set in a white ceramic bowl with white pebbles that you can personalize with a name or a few words of thanks for someone who takes care of others.

In crystal tradition chrysoprase is a stone of healing, hope and compassion, and it is often linked with the sign of Taurus. On 12 May, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the world celebrates International Nurses Day, a good day to thank a nurse.

THE KING'S GREEN STONE

Chrysoprase takes its name from the Greek chrysos, gold, and prason, leek, for its golden green colour, which comes from tiny amounts of nickel. In the eighteenth century its most famous source was in Silesia, near today's Szklary in Poland, and the Prussian king Frederick the Great loved it so much that he used it to decorate his palace of Sanssouci in Potsdam, including two chrysoprase tables.

WHO IS IT FOR?

A gift for a nurse, a midwife or a carer

An International Nurses Day or nursing graduation gift

A Taurus birthday gift

An apple green accent for a desk, bedside table or windowsill

MATERIALS

46 natural chrysoprase spheres, polished and wired by hand one by one

Non-tarnish wire in the finish you choose at checkout: pure copper, silver-plated copper or gold-plated copper, so the colour keeps its shine for years

White ceramic bowl with white pebbles, plain or personalized with your text or text and photo

Every tree is unique: natural chrysoprase varies from mint to apple green, with paler and darker flecks

SIZE

Height: about 24 cm (9.5 in)

Width: about 19 cm (7.5 in)

Depth: about 14 cm (5.5 in)

Bowl diameter: about 8 cm (3 in)

Weight: about 0.7 kg (1.5 lb)

PERSONALIZATION STYLES

Choose the personalization style from the options above.
